The Rock Around toy for kids is another great way for them to develop the physical coordination skills they all need.
It looks like a snow disc and maybe it would even work in that scenario, but you use it to rock around and spin around. It can actually strengthen muscles too because they will constantly be using strength and leverage to move the toy.
This product is made by the Gonge company which specializes in making creative learning toys. Skoleforlaget Gonge founded the company in 1966 in the country of Denmark.
Their products are now sold in 40 different countries all over the world. Their goal with the Rock Around and other toys is to stimulate the movement, cognitive and social development of children, all while keeping in mind all of the safety rules all over the world.
They specialize in helping children develop skills necessary early on in life and that’s why I’m reviewing this popular product.

The Rock Around toy is specifically designed for use indoors on the carpet or any hard surface. Although kids would be tempted, please don’t let them slide with this down the stairs!
I suppose you could classify this toy as a type of balance board. Once you get this toy rockin’ you have to maintain balance. Otherwise, the disc will come to a stop and you could fall off.
You can even fit two small children in it at the same time and they will have a blast.
I personally consider this a piece of kids’ fitness equipment because it can really give a child a nice little workout. Plus, overtime it develops physical coordination skills.
You can easily store this item anywhere without any problems, so why not place it in the playroom along with the other kids’ exercise equipment toys.

The product dimensions are 14 centimeters high and 76 centimeters around. Amazon says it weighs 25.9 pounds upon delivery.
This product isn’t sold in any other size or color.
The Gonge company says this toy is safe for children ages one and a half to seven. Both boys and girls of those ages can fit on this balance toy and have safe fun.

Pros:
The pros of this physical development toy are that kids will have a ton of fun playing on this indoors or outdoors while at the same time developing coordination skills to help them in the long run.
Not only that but children can actually get some great exercise because of the constant moving and use of their muscles.
Even if they only play with this for 10 or 15 minutes at a time they will be benefiting their health.
Cons:
If you don’t show your kids how to properly use this kids fitness equipment piece then they are likely to use it for something completely unrelated to physical activity.
For instance, they might use it as an accessory to one of their other toys or even roll marbles around in it.
