Everyone here knows I advocate the whole family getting involved in exercise and healthy eating at home, but there are some families who absolutely love going to a personal trainer.

Some parents send their kids to an exercise boot camp and they’re looking for a personal trainer who can provide direction, structure and strategies that help go along with the proper teaching they get from home. Think about it as supplemental.

Personal trainers for kids are there to increase your child’s level of health, cardiovascular ability, flexibility, balance and energy. Sometimes kids can train in small group settings with other children and that can be fun too.

There are also summer camps and after school programs the kids can participate in.

You are in this profession because you legitimately want to help others. You realize there is an issue with child obesity and your heart goes out to them.
